Front room & alcove
The front room at Occhikeeve faces Dizengoff Street through tall glass. It catches morning light and the soft shuffle of the neighborhood. Tables are spaced enough that you can hear your company without raising your voice. The back alcove is smaller — two tables, denser wood, and a lower lamp — and suits longer oolong sessions or a quiet Friday before we close.
We do not play loud playlists. Occhikeeve keeps a low ambient hum so the pour stays the main sound. Laptops are welcome in the morning hours when space allows; after 16:00 we ask guests to keep screens modest so the room stays a tea house, not an office annex.
Table service
Order at the counter or from your table when the room is calm. Occhikeeve brings water first, then the pot, then a second kettle if you plan to re-steep. Small plates — a sesame biscuit or a seasonal fruit slice — appear when available; they are optional and never overpower the leaf.
Groups larger than six should write ahead so we can set the long table without crowding walkways. We are glad to host book clubs and quiet birthdays, but we decline karaoke nights and anything that needs a microphone. Occhikeeve is built for soft voices and warm cups.
Hours that respect the city
Sunday through Thursday we open at 09:00 and stay until 21:00. Fridays close at 15:00. Closed Saturday. If a public holiday shifts our plan, a note goes on the door and in the reply to anyone who emails [email protected].
