Occhikeeve
Small pots, measured water, and a room that stays soft while the city moves outside.
Why Occhikeeve keeps a short shelf
Occhikeeve Tea House buys in modest lots so leaves stay lively on Dizengoff Street. We prefer clear tasting notes over a wall of tins that never turn. Guests often begin with a house pour — a single pot chosen for the hour — then take a small pouch home. Staff will talk water temperature and steep times without ceremony; the point is a good cup, not a lecture.
Afternoons bring a slower pace: newspapers, soft conversation, and second infusions poured without hurry. Fridays close earlier so the team can meet the weekend like the rest of Tel Aviv. If you need a quieter corner, ask for the back alcove — it holds two tables and a little more hush.
Brewing without fuss
Occhikeeve trains every shift on the same basics: fresh water, honest leaf weight, and patience for the first pour. We do not sell miracle claims — only leaves that taste like themselves. If a tea feels too strong, we shorten the next steep rather than drown the cup in milk.
